In the 40 km. north-east of Winterberg situated Ober-Waroldern lies this wonderful half timbered farm house from 1878. The Dutch owner has been busy since 2006 with transforming this authentic piece of Germany into a marvelous group destination in where eight bedrooms offer accommodation to 30 persons. The house has been renovated in a tasteful way and arranged into three holiday properties which provides for a very flexible destination. You can rent the entire house, which you will occupy all by yourself, for a maximum of 30 pers.(DE-34477-01), but of course also (depending on your company) one ore more individual houses. There lies a 15-pers. house on the ground floor (DE-34477-02) with five bedrooms and two bathrooms for the medium group while there are two 5-pers. homes (DE-34477-03 and DE-34477-04) situated on the first floor for the individual family. The location is ideally suited for a holiday with friends or the whole family considering that not only the house itself, but also the environment offer many options. There is a playground next to the house for the little children and given the fact that the village hardly has any passing through traffic, they can nicely amuse themselves outside. Besides that, you are at the right spot for making excursions in the Waldeckerland. Castles, fortresses, museums, lakes, forests and meadows, everything is actually present here. Recommendations are a visit to the Diemel- or Edersee, a nice day of shopping in Korbach (8 km.) or enjoy the nature around Winterberg (30 minutes by car). In short, a glorious destination with many possibilities for the family party as well as the annual outing with friends!
