Large renovated 6-bedroom circa 1887 Victorian home located in St. Augustine's bustling historic downtown surrounded by European cafes, fine restaurants, art galleries and historical sites, only a few minutes away from beautifiul beaches. The private citrus garden is large enough to host events for up to 15 people in any season.
This is a truly unique 3-story 9-room house - the perfect place for a romantic gateway, family vacation or a reunion. There are 6 bedrooms with a king, queen and full size beds, formal living and dining rooms with 2 fireplaces, and 2 bathrooms. All rooms are districtive in their layout and individual decor.
Dating back to 1887, the house combines the atmosphere of 19th century with the modern comfort. All rooms have been recently renovated. There are 2 bathrooms with complimentary tee tree shampoo and conditioner. Towels and linens are provided as well. Each bedroom has its own heat/air-conditioning climate control unit. Kitchen is equiped with essencial cooking applicances as well as a coffeemaker, popcorn and ice-cream makers, and has a separate breakfast area.
Surrounded by various cafes, restaurants and event venues, the Paradisi Place sits private and serene, and yet within short walking distance to the old St. George Street, Flagler College, the 17th-century fort Castillo de San Marco, art galleries,pubs, night bars, theaters and of course, the waterfront. Most of the historical sites are only 5- to 10-minute stroll from the house.
The well-maintainted Vilano Beach is only 3 miles away and St. Augustine Beach is approximately within 10-minute drive. Both beaches are free to public and offer free parking (Vilano Beach offers car access to the beach for a fee during summer seasons).
When arriving to stay, guests may park their cars under the carport or in front of the house. Parking is complementary to the guests.
There are so many things to do in the area: swimming, surfing, paddleboarding, fishing, boating, fine dining, golfing, kite-flying, horse riding, antiquing, birdwatching, just to name a few. There are also unique tasting adventures such as a local chocolate factory, San Sebastian winery, and a distillery. There are daily tastings and tours for free.
St. Augustine's subtropical climate is ideal, with warm weather and ocean breezes making every season comfortable and enjoyable.
P.S. As this is an 1887 Victorian house, please take caution with small children as there are original winding staircases as well as porches and balconies located throughout the property.
