Studio Apartment in Jhongshan District

1: noise level: if sleep quality is important to you, then you will enjoy staying at my apartment. it is incredibly quiet.

2: location: 2 min walk from jian nan metro station, countless famous restos, miramar mall, riverside park, convenience stores, golf driving range etc. the area is very convenient, yet really quiet at night, 20 mins by mrt to taipei 101, 8-10 mins by mrt to zhongshiao fuxing metro station (downtown), 10 mins by free shuttle bus from miramar mall to shilin night market, 20 mins by taxi to yangming shan + hot springs, 5-7 minutes by taxi to the national palace museum and martyr's shrine.

some reasons to consider my place instead of the places close to taipei 101:

a) some of the most popular tourist attractions are actually very far from the taipei 101 area. these places include shilin night market, which is a free shuttle bus ride away from miramar mall. the martyr's shrine (no mrt station) is a 5-7 minute taxi ride away. the national palace museum (no mrt station) is also a 5-7 minute taxi ride away. yangmingshan national park (where i work) and all the hot springs (no mrt station) can also be reached within 20 minutes by taxi. you can also opt to take public buses to those place i have mentioned.

b) downtown is too busy and crowded. taking the mrt or driving during rush hour can take its toll. on the one hand, my area is more "chill" and relaxing. on the other hand, it is still only a 10 min mrt ride to downtown.

c) because it is a relatively newly developed residential neighborhood, it is much quieter. traffic is less horrendous. there is more urban planning. the streets are lined with trees. you still enjoy the modern conveniences of having a shopping mall, supermarket, convenience stores, upmarket and local restos etc.

3. a) directions to taipei 101: 15 min taxi ride or 8 metro stations away (only 1 transfer from brown line to blue line); b) directions to shilin night market: 15 min taxi ride or free shuttle bus leaving miramar mall every 30 minutes from 10AM-9PM; c) directions to national palace museum: 7-10 min taxi ride; d) directions to downtown (zhongxiao east road shopping area:) five MRT stations (no need to transfer); e) leave a message if u need directions to other tourist attractions in taipei

4: security: floor and main entrance accessible only to resident, need key card to use elevator; doorman available from 7AM to 5PM.

5: facilities/amenities: elevator, free access to and use of washing machine, dryer, bathtub, wifi, conference room, fitness center, roof deck area, kitchenette, fridge, closet space...

6. room and cleanliness: professionally cleaned once every two weeks, no pets, one bed and one sofa bed, high ceiling (3.6 meters). i do not have a parking space per se, but it is incredibly easy to find parking right in front of my apartment building.
