Maison de Vacances - Sonzay

In this stately, 19th century Maison du Maître, you can enjoy your vacation like a king. Your vacation home is situated on a calm, little, dead-end road, surrounded by meadows, and at walking distance from Sonzay (500 m). In front of the door you will find a large gravel terrace with seating area and BBQ. Next to it is a nice lush garden with lounge chairs. Option: start your day with a hike to the bakery to then afterwards eat breakfast at your picknick table outside. For you daily groceries you can go to Souvigné (6 km) or Neuillé (7 km). There is a restaurant on the border of Sonzay. Via the Pont Napoléon you reach the historical city of Tours (24 km), with its nice little terraces, restaurants, boutiques and workshops in the old centre. You can also visit the magnificent cathedral, the palace of Archevêques and the wine museum. Impressive castles are just around the corner: Langeais (26 km), Villandry (30 km), Azay-le-Rideau (34 km) and Ussé (43 km). You do not need to go far for a nice walk - the forest with dozens of little lakes are in the near vicinity. A big lake with the possibility of doing water sports is located in Château-la-Vallière (12 km). You can golf at the 18-holes course in Courcelles-de-Touraine (13 km) and Saint-Antoine-du-Rocher (17 km).
