Tropical Beach House, Hikkaduwa

the Tropical Beach House is a true beachfront property superbly located right on the beach at Thiranagama just south of the centre of the popular Sri Lankan resort of Hikkaduwa, right in the middle of one of the most expansive and beautiful beaches in the South West of Sri Lanka. The beach house at Hikkaduwa provides you with a very comfortable base from where you can enjoy everything that the area has to offer, such as surfing, diving, snorkelling, nature watching or just basking on the beach in Sri Lankan sunshine!

Enjoy a drink at our 'sundowner' snack bar as you watch the last of the sun dip down into the Indian Ocean, whilst having a fresh seafood BBQ prepared in front of you. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to see the local fishermen hauling in their catch or a turtle coming ashore to lay her eggs! Later on, perhaps take a stroll along the beach and sample some Hikkaduwa nightlife. Enjoy all the advantages that come with renting your own beach-front holiday villa in Hikkaduwa and take everything else at your own pace.

As I hope the image tour conveys, the views from the holiday villa of the beach and Indian Ocean at the bottom of the garden are simply gorgeous!

For the duration of your holiday in Hikkaduwa, Mahinda and our housekeeping staff will be on hand to clean as often as you wish and attend to your every need. They will happily arrange local tours, Ayurvedic massages, diving trips, BBQs, meals to be prepared or anything else you can suggest.

The Tropical Beach House can accommodate a party of up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms (with at least 3 couples). We provide bed linen and towels and can supply a cot, as well, if necessary. WiFi internet access is available throughout the beach house complex.

The ground floor of the Tropical Beach House has 2 air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms - one king-size double and one with twin beds - a dining room and a fully-appointed kitchen. In front of the beach house is a private beachfront garden with a swimming pool (7.30m x 3.65m) and a very large shaded veranda, which is ideal for relaxing with drinks whilst watching the kids splash around in the pool.

The whole upper floor of the Tropical Beach House is a self-contained studio apartment featuring beautiful direct ocean views through wide sliding glass doors, which lead out onto a large shaded balcony. It comes complete with air-conditioning, a fully-equipped kitchen, dining table, king-size 4-poster bed, washing machine and an en-suite bathroom with hot-water shower. The Cabana in the tropical side garden is an air-conditioned bungalow and comes complete with a fully equipped kitchen area, an en-suite bathroom with a hot-water shower and a separate shaded veranda.

Although the beach house is offered on a self-catering basis, we can prepare meals for you at our on-site 'Sundowner' restaurant hut. We can serve your meals for you wherever you want to eat them and we won't be beaten locally on price!
