Our spacious townhouse(75sqm) has been newly renovated for 2016 and has been equipped for your comfort and convenience in mind.Located in a residential area close enough to everything and far enough to enjoy peace and privacy!
Townhouse is on two levels.
On the ground level:
Integrated kitchen/dining area fully equipped with kitchen utensils; stove top;oven;fridge with freezer compartment;kettle and toaster (note: kitchen only updated).
Loungeroom with comfy sofa that opens up to a queen size bed(160cm).Airconditioning available only in loungeroom.Intentionally there is no television,enjoy the peace and discover your new surroundings!
Bathroom 1 with toilet and handbasin.
On the first floor:
bedroom 1 has a queen doublebed (160cm);bedroom 2 has two single beds and bedroom 3 has one single bed.All three bedrooms have insect screens on windows and fans available. Main bathroom consists of shower,handbasin and toilet.
Small balcony with table and chair settings where you can enjoy morning coffee or afternoon drinks. WIFI is free and unlimited through the apartment. A short walk to the nearby bay with beaches and a jetty where you can catch an inexpensive water taxi to the uninhabited islets of Badija and Vrnik with beautiful beaches or Korcula old town center(5min) during summer.We are close to the local bus station where it is possible to take the bus to the beautiful beaches in Lumbarda(5min by bus) or go by bike!
A frequent and inexpensive ferry (close to our house 15min trip) runs to Orebic famous town of captains and their stone mansions on the main land.
If required pick-up from the ferry port or bus station on arrival, free of cost.
Parking infront of property.
Quiet neighborhood inhabited by local families. Large supermarket 5minutes walk, smaller supermarket couple of minutes walk.
The townhouse is particularly advantageous for active recreation holidays all year round because it is at the center of sporting facilities a 5-10 minute walk to indoor Olympic pool, tennis courts, biking and running along the coast(Korcula has one of the most beautiful triathlon destinations offered and takes place towards at the end of April each year)!Called Little Dubrovnik, Korcula is a medieval walled town offering one of Croatia's most romantic views and rich in culture and history. The centre of town is dominated by the splendid St Mark's Cathedral. The Gothic-Renaissance style is superb and the interior features a Pietà by Ivan Mestrovic, Croatia's most famous sculptor. Along the island there are gorgeous small stone villages of Zrnovo,Pupnat,Smokvica, Blato and Lumbarda which are fantastic to drive through(do not take the bypass!) and get the authentic feeling of what life is like and use to be like on the island.
Our central location enables day trips to Dubrovnik, Split, National Park Mljet and island at approx: 2 hours away .
