The “Cason de Consuelo” is in the heart of Toledo´s old medieval town. This 16th Century building is listed as Historical World Heritage by UNESCO. Awarded with Architectonic Restoration and Rehabilitation Prize by the Toledo´s Fine Arts and History Academy and surrounded by over 150 monuments within walking distance.
An original 16th Century door leads to a typical mudejar patio that brings together the life and activity of the house. In the Cason there is plenty of evidence of its historical grounding such as a 13th century floor and roman columns.
From the patio to the penthouse there are 5 living spaces preserving all coffered ceilings: One bedroom, two suites, the “Studio of Light” with its fancy terrace and breathtaking views, and the Master Bedroom. All fully equipped with bathrooms.
On the 4th floor the “Cathedral Lounge” opens up to a magnificent terrace facing the imposing 13th Century Cathedral of Santa María de Toledo. The sunset colorful views of the terrace were the ones that inspired the revolutionary paintings of El Greco.
