The sittingroom is also on the first floor making good use of the space and lovely views - a really interesting and chic place to stay. Escape to the quiet cobbled courtyard, rolling lawns and chic interiors of Glanhenwye.
Originally the farm to Maesllwch Castle, this collection of three stunningly beautiful, spacious and unique properties form an L-shape around a picturesque cobbled courtyard. Each property showcases features that hark back to its old life. Jessica was once the Bothy and Margaux Rose was formerly the coach house. and, whilst the original stalls are visible on the ground floor, the first floor incorporates the large circular windows once used for tossing straw down to the yard from the lofts.
Brecon is approximately 12 miles with The Brecon Beacons, The Black Mountains, Llantony Valley, Gospel Pass and Hay Bluff are all an easy drive. There are several really good gastro-pubs and restaurants around Ha-on-Wye and The River Cafe at Glasbury is always a favourite. Hay-on-Wye is 4 miles, Hereford 24 miles .
