There are fishing rods for your use and the owner will stock the pond with a kilo of trout on request. The trout must be ordered from the homeowner at least one week before arrival. Then you can enjoy some freshly grilled fish that you have caught yourself! There is a lovely 47 km bike path just 1 km from the chalet, which connects the cities of Liège and Durbuy. You cycle along the Ourthe, past beautiful rocks, or through the lovely countryside. This is a perfect route for exploring the area in a pleasant and active way. The towns of Comblain-au-Pont and Hamoir, where you will find all sorts of nice shops, are less than 5 km away.
