 "Ticino“  is in the Italian part of Switzerland and is famous for its all year sunshine. In this part of the country Italian and German are the national languages but English is also widely spoken.

 

In English, “Casa Gialla” means “the "Yellow House".

 

The holiday house is in the heart of the village of Pugerna. Pugerna is on top of the mountain in front of Lugano and has the best panoramic view on the Lugano lake and on the Swiss mountains. Ideal to start trips to the mountains or to the lake, by foot, bike or car. In the village there is a "corner shop" with tavern. Peace guaranteed. Children friendly because no mainroad near-by.

 

In the evening you may watch  deers and foxes coming down from the forest...

 

     The Apartment

The apartment was renovated in 2011 from scratch. The typical Ticino character was maintained.

The apartment is "hidden" in the village center, near a small chapel. You will get a plan! Very quiet.

 

You may hear the sound of the water splashing in the nearby creek ...

 

  Equipment

The apartment is equipped for 6 persons with 3 double beds on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor.

    > First Floor: Kitchen, WC and shower and separate small sleeping room with double bed.

    > Second Floor: Large lounge with TV, double pull-out bed, WC, shower and kitchen.

    > Third Floor: Open attic with a double bed and Lake Lugano glimp.

 

   Facilities

2 kitchens, one with stove and dishwasher.

2 showers and 2 toilets,

Washing machine. Television. DVD recorder. 

Internet: free in the house and in the garden.

Hot and cold water, heating in winter (pellets). 

Electric fireplace (second floor).

 

  Garden

The "Casa Gialla" includes a private garden, behind with breathtaking view on the lake of Lugano. It is the the separate upper garden of our sister-house (the "Casa Rosa", the “Pink House”).

Garden furniture, sun umbrella, shower and barbecue.
