La Bougainville

La Bugainville is a small, independent house with garage, built on a private road and overlooking the magnificent Maralunga Bay. Guests are offered a glimpse of blue sea, just a stone's throw away from the distinctive village of Lerici. The villa, set across two floors and offering private beach access, can sleep up to 6 people. It features a private garden with sea views and a large veranda for open-air dining. In the house you will find a small, panoramic terrace overlooking the bay, and affording views of Palmaria island. Lerici is a 10-minute walk away, (roads with stairs). In the village you will find two small supermarkets, banks, a post office, restaurants, taxis and tobacconists. You can also rent canoes and inflatable rafts for sea excursions. There is a large market on Saturday mornings, selling clothes and typical food. Excursions: 1-1.5hrs away are the beautiful Cinque Terre villages (reachable either by boat, train or car) as well as Portovenere, Palmaria Island and Portofino. All the boats heading to the islands set sail daily from Lerici port. Tellaro and San Terenzo villages are just a few kilometres away- both reachable by car, on foot or by public transport. 20 minutes away by car is the town of Versilia, with its many night spots, and Carrara, with its famous marble quarries. Sarzana is a mere 15 minutes away by car. Here you will find the closest train station. (There are services to the Cinque Terre, Florence, Pisa and Parma). The town also offers various cultural sights of interest.
