Rental Details
Located on 5 minute walk to to city centre of Amersfoort with its medieval city wall , historic medieval houses and narrow streets and to she shopping centre.
on a 2 minute walk there is a smaller shopping centre located with 2 supermarkets several restaurants and other facilities.
The place itself is a small 2 room appartment at ground level.
The biggest room is converted into a soundproof studio room of about 12 square meters with a desk , a set of technics turntables and a computer in one corner and a vocal cabin and a coach in the other corner.The couch serves as a bed as showed on the photo which can accommodate 2 people.
The appartment also has a tiny kitchen and a small bathroom , while i managed to make the studio , my living area and the hallway quite nice and the kitchen a lot better and the bathroom has a good shower ;it is also that as the appartment was built in the 1950's the bathroom has its problems as the ventilarion in it is inadequate.
So the place is nice , but the bathroom is what it is to avoid any confusion about that.
Clean Linnen for the bed is also available.
When i receive visitors , i move my work to my private room and do the things that require working on higher sound levels when my visitors are out or in town.
Sleeping in the room ( i did a few times myself for the experience my first visitors told me about ) is a cool experience as the place is very silent and dark when the lights are out and the soundproo door is closed.
The town of Amersfoort is located at about 25 km from utrecht which has a lively club scene and about 45km from Amsterdam.
The towncentre at 5 minutes walking distance has a number of squares that hold bars , pubs and restaurants with terraces during summer months that are open until late and several bar-dancings and podia that regularly have bands playing , if there is interest i can show you around and show you where what is located
As i have a car there are also possibilities there.
To people that want to rent the room longer then a month , then i probably will be out a part of the time myself.
Feeding the cat when I am off the premises for a longer period comes with the place.
There is one cat that decided to pick my house to stay by parking himself on my doormat that stays already at my place for almost a decade and there is another cat that regularly drops in , a bit of a strange cat as you can see on one of the pictures.
for longer periods when i am away optional guests are possible as my room can then be used, please contact me on this.
