The holiday home is about a 10-minute drive from the French border, so you can take a peek across the border and get a sense of life in France. Be sure to also visit the Zonnegloed children's zoo in Vleteren and get to know animals from all over the world. Just a bit farther is the Heuvellands wine route, where you will find beautiful views whether in your car or on foot. There is a special buggy route for young children. Most of all, don't forget to go for a delightful beach walk at one of West Flanders's charming beach towns during your stay. You can easily visit multiple towns in a single day with the coastal tram.
