The apartment of 75 sqm is located in the center of the small village of Montisi, inside a historical building, just below the clock tower that marks the beginning of the oldest part of the village: the medieval castle. The apartment, located on the first floor, consists of a bedroom with double bed (160x190 cm.), A room with a bunk bed (80x190 cm.), Large living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and a small laundry.

The building dates from the beginning of the last century, while the third floor was added in the thirties. The furnishings are mostly original ones and masonry work performed have been made respecting as much as possible the original layout of the house and intervening only when absolutely necessary.

We suggest to visit the Museum and educational center of truffles and wild herbs, the Church of San Lorenzo, the Church of Santa Maria, the Grancia of Montisi, the Castle of San Giovanni d'Asso, the Church of Madonna della Neve, the Church of San Pietro in Villore, the village of Lucignano d'Asso, the Church of Maria e the Curch of San Giovanni Battista and the archaeological site of Pava.

The apartment is located between Val d'Orcia and the Crete Senesi (UNESCO sites) and the area has plenty of hiking and cultural tours. A few kilometers from the house you can visit the villages of Montisi, San Giovanni d'Asso, Montalcino, Trequanda, Castelmuzio, Montepulciano, Pienza and Siena. The area, rich of thermal bath (Bagno Vignoni and Rapolano Terme), offers the opportunity for guests to enjoy (by appointment) relaxing and rejuvenating treatments. During the winter, Mount Amiata becomes the ideal place for snow sports. The whole area is famous for its food and wine itineraries giving the opportunity for tourists to taste the famous cheeses Pecorino of Pienza, truffles from San Giovanni d'Asso and to taste the famous wines such as Brunello di Montalcino. Along the Via Cassia (ancient Roman road) can be achieved, in less than one hour, Bolsena Lake crossing along the way many typical villages of Tuscia, an area famous for the Etruscan settlements. You can also book a tour of the Val d'Orcia through the Nature Train, a delightful steam train that runs through the valley.

Security Deposit: EUR 100,00 in cash upon arrival, to be returned at the end of the stay after checking the state of the rooms.

During the winter the heating is not included in the price. Heating must be paid on consumption (EUR 4,50 m³) on the spot.

Please note that the apartment is not equipped to accommodate disabled people.

Rental agreement:
"Locazione ad uso turistico" (rent for touristic purpose) stipulated under the Italian law n.431, article 1, paragraph 2, letter C, 9 December 1998 and subjected to the "discipline of the leases and the release of the buildings used for residential purposes" as provided by Italian Regional law n. 42, Art. 57, 23 March 2000, contained in the T.U.L.R. regarding tourism.
