Nice alternative to explore the landscape instead of a "normal" walk is via Geocachging. This is a modern form of treasure hunt where you have a GPS device to search for a hidden ‘treasure’. The home owner has hidden some caches in the surroundings of this accommodation for you to discover. The area is furthermore ideal for Nordic walking or riding a motorcycle. And in the winter, this part of the Eifel (also known as Schneifel) offers various winter sport possibilities. In the cosy nearby town of Prum you will find many shops, cafes' and restaurants.
