Modern free standing holiday home in a secured compound just outside a traditional Newari village in Sunakothi. A comfortable and spacious living / dining room with comfortable furniture, Tibetan carpets and Nepali wall paintings. The holiday home is decorated with local crafts and photo's of Nepal. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all required facilities & utensils. The house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The first floor has a terrace for sunbathing and from the rooftop you have a great panoramic views of great Himalayas overlooking Kathmandu Valley. There is a nice garden to relax, read and sunbathe. A perfect holiday home for a family or small groups that love peace but within a comfortable distance of Kathmandu city. There is a community swimming pool and two gardens in the complex.
Sunakothi is a great place to make small trips to traditional villages in the areas. You can make a great nature walk through the rice fields, enjoy seeing local farmers working in the fields and producing organic vegetables. There is a lake nearby where you can rent a rowing boat.
