The Shepherds Cottage at Ruddyglow Park dates back to the 1820's, with it's thick walls, vaulted ceilings and stunning views over Loch Assynt. Just a few miles out of Lochinver, which is a pretty little fishing village and only 30 miles from the bustling village of Ullapool. The north-west scottish highlands and Assynt in particular have some of the oldest landscapes and rock formations in the world. A renowned area for walking, relaxing, experiencing nature at it's best. The Shepherds Cottage is the ideal place to stay while exploring this magical area.
With 3 bedrooms, 2 double and one twin the cottage can sleep 6 guests however as has one large family bathroom it probably better suited for 4. The master bed room is bright and airy because of the cathedral ceiling and windows on two sides that look out over the garden and Loch Assynt to the south and Quinag to the north. There is a small fitted kitchen and scullery with washing machine and tumble dryer, a cosy sitting area with freeview satelite televison and an eating area that also looks out over the garden and loch.
