Looking for an authentic Czech holiday home with a pond on the edge of a forest? No problem! You stay in a characteristic former 'Chalupa' farmhouse with a lovely ivy over the side of the house. As befitting a proper Czech house, the interior is finished with much wood and so is very attractive. Comfortable and neatly furnished. The living room has leather seating and a cosy fireplace. The bathroom is modern and equipped with shower and toilet. The house is part of a peaceful cluster of three houses, completely surrounded by a thick pine forest. The garden contains a charming roofed patio with wooden tables, benches and a BBQ. An outhouse adjoining the holiday home contains a sauna (fee is charged). The babbling brook (take care with the little ones) running through the spacious enclosed garden is the background music to the serene tranquility. There is also an old well (not filled in) and a pond in the garden. The village of Kamenice is 4 km away. A place to do your shopping and enjoy a meal in a restaurant. The gigantic fortress of the town of Jindrichuv Hradec (25 km to the south) is certainly worth a trip.
