3 Bedroom House in Stavanger

Wake up to the sound of waves and a breathtaking view, facing straight out towards the North Sea.

It is a modern house, located in a newly developed residential area on the west coast of Norway, close to Stavanger. It is a unique location, and the use of large windows that goes from the floor to the ceiling, gives you the same amazing view, regardless of whether you enjoy your breakfast in the kitchen, relax in the living room, or enjoy a cold drink on the terrace. On a nice sunny day, you can enjoy the sun throughout the day, until it sets in the sea just in front of the house.

The house has only been inhabited since March 2013 and has all the facilities you may expect from a modern house. A fully equipped kitchen, relaxed and comfortable living room, floor heating in all rooms, high speed internet access and comfortable beds, is all at your disposal.

The nearby area will give you peace in mind and is great for a walk along the shore. The historical harbour in Tananger may also be worth a visit and is only about a 15 minutes walk away.

Furthermore, the location is a great starting point for exploring the area and is only about a 20 minutes drive from Stavanger with all its amenities. The numerous white sandy beaches (i.e. Solastranden, Borestranden and Hellestøstranden) are a popular recreation area all year round, even though swimming season is terribly short.

Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) has been listed as one of the world’s most spectacular views by Lonely planet and is definitely worth a visit. Perhaps equally spectacular is Kjerag, rising about 1000 meters above the Lysefjord. In general, the numerous fjords, mountains and vantage points in the area, provide endless possibilities for exploration and we are more than happy to give you some advice to make your stay a memorable experience!

Public transport is only a few minutes walk away, and depending on which way you go, you can take the bus to both Stavanger and Sandnes/Forus. Conveniently enough, the bus to Sandnes also stops at the airport and shouldn’t take much longer than approximately 15 minutes.
