GREAT location between Yosemite Vallery and Wawoma. Just a few minutes from the Glacier Point turn off from Hwy 41
If you enjoy watching sunsets - this is the place for you. Great bird-eye views of the mountains which gives you a front row sea to enjoy the setting sun.
Being in Yosemite West it is positioned midway between Yosemite Valley and Wawona, making this the ideal place for a base camp. You can head down to the Valley for sight-seeing or down to Wawona for a round of golf or up Glacier Point Road for a spectacular panoramic view of the valley and half dome. There are hiking trails and wild life found through out the Park. You are sure to make memories that will last a life time.
Both families and couples have enjoined their stay here. Your biggest problem will be deciding how to spend the limited time you have here. There are so many things to do and see in Yosemite.
This comfortable little place was completed in 2011. It has 2 bedroom (1king, 1 queen) 2 bathrooms (one on each floor). With a fully equipped kitchen with a microware, lots of cookware, dishwasher, stainless steel propane raange wurround with granite counter tops making meals are easy. There's a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking.
Perched high on the hillside with a driveway that is steep and narrow, you do best with a car that has hight clearance. However once you are parked there's a ramp you go up and ONLY 2 steps to enter OR there is a ramp going around the house to the front deck. This makes it convenient for unloading the car.
Both bedrooms have a 32" TV and a sliding glass door with access to the upper deck. The living has a 47" TV a propane fireplace an extra large sliding glass door leading to the lower deck. You will have magnificent views of the pine forest and the Merced River Canyon from both inside and out on the deck.
Being about 2000' higher then the valley it is not as hot up here and the ceiling fans help to cool you off.
