Located in a very safe area. With public transportation within 4 blocks Autopista Duarte and Avenida Monumental (buses, vans, public cars, taxis). The 2nd line of the Subway (Metro) is 4 minutes ride in public transportation. Carrefour, a superstore is at 12 minutes walk distance.

Universities INTEC and UNPHU, and Botanical Garden, are all close in public transportation ride by John F. Kenndy highway.

The upscale cosmopolitan Santo Domingo (Midtown or "Polígono Central"), has 400 restaurants, malls, night life, gymnasiums, movie theaters, Acropolis Center, Blue Mall, Agora Mall, Ikea, Diamond Mall, Galerías 360, Novocentro, Plaza Central, Plaza Naco, are all close in public transportation ride by John F. Kennedy highway. Las Lagunas Golf Club is at 10 minutes car ride going north.

Parque Enriquillo (bus stop to Boca Chica beach and Punta Cana), China Town, Zona Colonial (Old Santo Domingo) and El Malecón (avenue at the Caribbean sea) are accessible by public transportation by John F. Kenney (30 minutes).

My experience was excellent with the host. He took me to get cook food at reasonable prices at the supermarket. The place is very clean. The bus stop to the nearest beach is 25 mins away, with AC buses there. I would stay with Ores again in a heart beat. Thanks Ores for making my stay enjoyable and I highly recommend anybody and everybody to give it a try. I enjoy Santo Domingo, can't wait to return!! :)

Ores has a very clean apartment and quiet neighbors; I regret that my visit and stay was so short, however, Orestes' apartment is my definite choice for hospitality when I return to Santo Domingo. The apartment is modern and Orestes is also a devout Christian whose kind character enriched my experience and afforded me a secure and comfortable visit.
