Fully accessorized, beautiful suburban space consists of large bedroom (queen) with sitting area, private full bath and shared dining area. Continental breakfast; access to working pottery studio. Includes transportation to/from train station (Grand Central, NYC is 70 minute ride); easy walk to Fairfield University; 5 miles to General Electric headquarters.
The suite comes fully furnished with the following for your exclusive use: full bathroom, sitting/living area, microwave oven, small refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, washer / dryer, iron / ironing board, hair dryer, computer with DVD player, CATV with Apple TV (for private movie access), wireless Internet access and USB charging plugs (with international combinations). In addition to being an easy train ride from NYC, an accross-the-street walk to Fairfield University and a 5 mile drive to GE Headquarters, this space comes with access to a working pottery studio on the grounds (for visiting, playing or serious work). In combination, these features make for a truly unique listing for 1 or 2 people (possibly with a young child; "Pack N Play" also available).
In addition to 330 square feet of private space including small appliances listed above, you'll enjoy shared access to a dining area, a large, well-furnished kitchen and the living room. Access to the pottery studio is by arrangement with the potter, but she loves to show off her space and welcomes people that want to explore, learn, play or even work seriously (for the latter, a studio fee may apply) at making things from clay!
We include a parking spot in our driveway for guests, but will also provide transportation to/from the Fairfield train station which connects our town to New York City in the south and New Haven and Yale University in the north and still further, via the Shoreline East train system, to lovely Old Saybrook and New London, CT.
