Rental Details
Located between the airport and the city in a small village known as Akbar Town in Wattala. This is a self contained unit on the ground floor of my residence. It consists of a room with and attached toilet, open kitchen dining room, sitting room and open veranda. front and rear gardens. Public transport is available 5am to 10pm to the city center. a 3 wheel taxi will get you to the city center any time of the day cost about $4. Places of interest in close proximity are the Keliniya Temple, water world, the Hamilton canal and the UK beach which is more frequented by locals.
Tea, coffee and a local breakfast will be provided. If you book for a minimum 2 nights (example the day you arrive and the day you leave) you wil be provided a free drop off to the airport! In addition while you are touring the island your excess baggage can be keept for you free of charge.
Our intention is to provide clean safe friendly accommodation for backpackers/budget traveler. Yes we are a bit off the beaten track but hey you cant have everything ;-)
