James Bond Style Mountain House

This is a 70s James Bond style open-plan designed mountain-top house with impressive panoramic views over the whole Central Valley from east to west including downtown San Jose ,the National Stadium , the International Airport etc.You can see almost everything in the Central Valley and are perched high above the rest of San Jose ontop of the world in a very quiet private and exclusive setting.This is one of the best views and even better at night, simply stunning.

Ideal for first and last night stays for your vacation in Costa Rica.It would be a perfect start for your honeymoon or vacation great for families or groups of friends upto 12 people, although we have had groups of over 20 by being creative with the sleeping arrangements ...There are five bedrooms including an exuberant honeymoon suite and there are two living areas on different levels ,both with interesting bronze chimney stacks features with gas fired fireplaces. The kitchen in the heart of the house also enjoys the impressive views and is surrounded by landscaped gardens. This combination creates a great atmosphere, and a unique style which many have likened to a 70s James Bond style house, so it i is ideas an ideal place to recover from your flight and relax with plenty of space.We have a a music centre and speakers throughout the house,and can choose your own music.

We have an area which can be converted into a private cinema as we have a projector and giant screen 150" excellent for watching films or sporting events. Or this area can be used as a dancing area or even to put on a show.

The cosy honeymoon suite is one of the best rooms in the house and is perfect as a romantic sensual getaway with the stone walls and clever subtle lighting, with it's own brick fireplace ,and has a large modern bathroom. The other rooms are average standard size ,normal bedrooms with basic decoration and access to basic bathroom facilities, the bedrooms are not the most attractive feature of the house, but the general house more than makes up for the average bedrooms. The open-plan design and different levels make it ideal for parties and for groups to socialise.

There is a large terrace and balcony with a hottub and exuberant gardens to enjoy during the day or in the evening, enjoy hanging out and eating and drinking outside, whilst watching the rest of the San Jose Central Valley down below.We also have the relaxing company of Luna , a beautiful affectionate Harlequin Great Dane who lives at the house and welcomes all new guests.

We are about 20 minutes from the International Airport, if traffic is light and easy access to shops or bars and restaurantes in Escazu and about 15 minutes from the center of San Jose. We can .provide transport,  a laundry service and advice about tours and activities in Cost Rica , including nightlife options.Obviously private parking available for 7 or 8 cars.

We offer an excellent dinner and breakfast, normally local family style food...and by request we should be able to provide anything you like , within reason.

We are currently continuing with improvements to the property and minor details outstanding which does not effect guests in any way, so we are offering very attractive prices for the moment.

Dinner from $15 to $20 depending on the menu
