Rental Details
Comfortable double room in a spacious house. Leads into secluded patio garden. Located in Poets Corner with its chic cafes and friendly pubs. A minute's walk from transport links to central London.
Other rooms also available for larger groups. The room is suitable for two people but we can cater for four and possibly as many as seven if you are part of a larger group.
The house is Victorian. The garden contains the last surviving pear tree of an ancient orchard! Guests have shared access to a bathroom, and a shower and toilet. There is a large kitchen diner with cooking facilities and a washing machine. The paved back garden is also available to guests.
We are both friendly and enjoy company so would be happy to help you with your plans if requested but will respect your privacy if that is your preference.
Poets Corner is an up and coming area. The houses are Victorian and were built about 120 years ago. The Station House and the Rocket are excellent gastro-pubs. Laveli's coffee house is a great place to relax and sample amazing cakes. There is a Sainsbury’s Local, a shopping centre, a supermarket, and local takeaways, restaurants and bars close by. There is a no-fee ATM cash machine 30 seconds walk away. There is also an excellent local park if you want to go for a run or a more gentle stroll. We can provide you with tennis rackets and balls if you fancy a game at the free courts.

The house is only 30 seconds walk from Acton Central station on the London Overground with several connection options to the underground. It is one stop (5 minutes) from Willesden Junction with Bakerloo line connections to central London (Paddington, Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus, Charing Cross, Embankment and Waterloo) Acton Central is also 2 stops (6 minutes) from Gunnersbury with a connection to the District line It is 4 stops (14 minutes) from Richmond with access to its excellent shopping facilities, restaurants, pubs and riverside walks. Hampstead, Camden, Highbury & Islington and Stratford are all Overground stations and easily accessible. You can use your underground ticket or Oyster card on the Overground. The 207, 266 and E3 bus routes are four to six minutes walk away with access to Ealing, Chiswick, Hammersmith, Shepherds Bush and the Westfield Shopping Centre. The N207 runs directly from Oxford Circus to Acton after midnight. The A40/Westway (Birmingham-Oxford-Central London) is a three minute drive away.
Guests are provided with two towels, a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and toilet paper in their room.
