Rental Details
Situated in “Pays des Combrailles” of the Auvergne lies a beautiful Victorian estate. This manor house was once a holiday home of a large French aristocratic family. The estate with its outbuildings was built around 1870 and today we offer 5 B&B rooms. The manor is surrounded by a park of 17 hectares and lies quiet and peacefully in the countryside with its own surrounding forest and grassland. We have several farm animals such as sheep, 2 ponies, chickens, peacocks etc. For the children we have a trampoline, swings etc. Château La Perche is located on a hill and looks out over the central massif, on the edge of the volcanic region called the Puy de Dôme.
It’s a perfect stopover in central France, only 20 minutes from the Peage A71 at Montmarault (sortie 11) between the cities of Clermont Ferrand and Montluçon and 5 minutes’ drive from the N2144
We have 5 spacious and comfortable rooms: 3 double bedrooms with 2 spacious shared bathrooms; one for the women and one for the men. And a family and double room with a private bathroom. The “family room” is suitable for 2 adults and 2/3 children.
The lounge for our guests is located next to the entrance on ground level and is suitable for reading or watching television. We have both French, English and Dutch channels and we offer free Wi-Fi.
