 ''Northwood Residence'' is a one premises has two separate self-catering apartments located in Western Coast of Sri Lanka. Ground floor 158 Square meters & Upper floor 152 Square meters.Separate access for each floor and each floor consists of Two double rooms, Single room, Living/Dining,Open plan fully fitted integrated kitchen.
Kitchen is equipped with Fridge/Freezer, Washing machine, Dish Washer, Oven and Gas Hob.Hot water, Ceiling fan & A/C for each bed room and accommodate 10 adults & each apartment accommodate 5 adults.
This villa is situated at Colombo - Putlam Main Road 40 Minutes drive from Katunayaka Bandaranayaka International Airport (BIA).10 Minutes walk to the Marawila Beach. These apartment can be booked individually. There are 4 car parking spaces available onsite.
We do not have a pool on site but our associate motel has a swimming pool & restaurant(by the beach).It is 10 min walk from my accommodation. You can use the swimming pool for very reasonable charge or if you eat or drink in the restaurant you can use the pool for free.

Added security for guests 24/7 CCTV is in operation in this accommodation.

Mosquitos are rare due to the light breeze that sweeps in from the ocean.

All the rooms have comfortable nicely arranged double beds, dressing tables.
Living room - Room is arranged beautifully and has sofa, cable TV with all news, sports, music channels. Magazines are kept on the sofa table for those who love reading.
Kitchen - has attractive pantry , new Refrigerator, Cutlery, Dinner set, Gas cooker, Washing machine, Dishwasher, microwave oven.
Bathroom - all bathroom fittings are modern and new. Bathroom is washed and cleaned daily.
Dining area - 8 Chair dining table beautifully arranged.

Free WIFI internet connection accessible from anywhere in the apartment.

We can also provide transport to visits above places at your request. Our driver is well experienced of all the places in the country. We also can arrange airport pick up and drop off at your request.

Interaction with Guests

We do not live with the guests but we are there if they need any assistance.
Although We have driver's & caretaker's accommodation onsite you will not have to share with anyone.
Our caretaker's English standards is not very good so please let me know exactly what you would like prior to arrival, of your choices and travel arrangements. We are always available on the phone to communicate with our caretakers.

The Neighbourhood

Marawila is a fishing village located 67km north of Colombo, midway between Negombo and Chilaw.
This is another humble fishing settlement of Sri Lanka which affords the sights of fishermen mending their fishing nets, repairing their wooden outrigger boats that would go fishing in the night by stars.
A quite a few large churches along the road from Negombo to Marawila and in the areas surrounding Marawila with its catholic community testify to the Portuguese heritage of the area.

Getting Around

We provide known drivers for reasonable rate, Tuk -Tuk (Three Wheelers) for short distance, and car or van for longer travel.
