Rental Details

Very safe area to walk day and night. 1 bedroom and 1 bath condo in South Main Arts District! Walk to the trolley line that takes you to Beale St. and other downtown Memphis locations. Walk to Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken or the Memphis Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. Eat at the Arcade Restaurant where Elvis was a regular and scenes from The Firm, The Client, and Walk the Line were filmed.

The condo is on the second floor and only accessible by stairs. You will have the place all to yourself with a fully stocked kitchen, cable TV, streaming Netflix, a queen size bed in the bedroom and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. There is a washer and dryer and full bathroom as well. There is one assigned parking space in the gated/pin code accessible parking lot in the condo complex.

Typically, I rent the condo for two night minimums if it includes a Friday or Saturday night. For example, if you rent a Friday night then you must either rent Thursday or Saturday night too. Same goes for Saturday night. Any other week night is typically one night minimum depending on if it is a holiday weekend or special event in Memphis. This is at my discretion and if it is last minute and the house is still available that weekend, check with me for one night rentals.

Note there is only 1 queen size bed and 1 full or queen size sofa bed. However I get requests for groups of 6 or 8 sometimes and those groups are willing to sleep on rollaway beds or couches or air mattresses. So I list that I can accommodate that many.

You can walk a half mile to Tom Lee Park on the Mississippi River where many of the Memphis in May festivities take place. Walk almost a half mile to the Orpheum Theatre or Beale St. or just take the trolley that runs on nearby South Main St. The National Civil Rights Museum is only a 0.3 mile walk.

Other restaurants in the area are The Blue Monkey, Central BBQ, Happy Mexican, Rizzo's Diner (famous Lobster Pronto Pups), Cheesecake Corner, Bluff City Coffee, Pearl's Oyster House, and Spaghetti Warehouse. Oh yeah and Gus's!
