Rental Details

A newly build cottage less than an hour drive from exciting Reykjavik. The cottage is located by the lake Úlfljótsvatn which is next to Thingvellir, the national park. Also close to other famous landmarks such as Gullfoss and Geysir. The cottage is 114 m2 and three stories high. On the Main floor there is a fully-equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, microwave, toast, oven/stove, with a dining area next to the kitchen seating up to 8. And a bathroom with a shower . Up in the sleeping loft there are 2 separate bedrooms with one queen size tempur bed and one king size bed. There is one room in the basement with a queen size tempur bed. In the basement there is also a hobby room with a sky satelite tv and a good stereo/home theatre its a comfortable sofa area for relaxing, watching a movie, or listening to music on the TV, DVD and CD player. Also there is storage room in the basement with a thermostat for the hot tub. Around the cottage there is a 100 m2 porch with a BBQ and a hot tub.
The house is built very high up on a hill so it offers a panoramic mountain view there is also amazing to see the northern lights / aurora. You can see the northern lights/aurora forecast on (website hidden) The view is truly amazing!! The cottage is newly built so all the equipment are new.
