“Toque al Atlantico” are two apartments with family capacity each, they are authorized as vacation rentals for local and international people. They are conveniently located in PR 681 Km 6.4, Islote Ward, where are located the main sites of ecological value, natural resources and biodiversity of the touristic “Atlantic Porta” region in the north that belongs to the municipalities of Arecibo and Barceloneta in Puerto Rico.
“Toque al Atlantico” son dos apartamentos con capacidad familiar cada uno de ellos, autorizados para la renta vacacional a personas locales e internacionales. Esta convenientemente ubicado en Islote Ward en la carretera PR 681 Km 6.4, la zona que ubica los principales lugares de valor ecológico, recursos naturales y diversidad biológica de la Región Turística Porta Atlántico en el norte pertenecientes a los municipios de Arecibo y Barceloneta en Puerto Rico.
The apartments consist of furnished living rooms, modern rooms with air conditioning, queen bed and sofa bed, TV with cable, internet, bathroom with cold-hot water and hair dryer, private kitchen equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, bread toaster and coffee machine. They have a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea that fascinate all who have the opportunity to sunbathing or just make your breakfast protocol in a different and unique way.

Getting Around / (Cómo desplazarse)
In the area are visible different establishments where visitors can be supplied with basic necessities like, souvenirs and even spend some fun times without needing any type of vehicle and may do so either walking along the main road or along the coast, while enjoying the beautiful scenery around them. Now, if their plans is to visit the places of historical interest such as the lighthouse, Arecibo Observatory and others, even though they are relatively close, you will need to use any means of transportation to get to them.
En el área se encuentran accesibles diferentes establecimientos donde el visitante podrá suplirse de artículos de primera necesidad, algún suvenir e incluso pasar momentos de diversión sin que este necesite ningún tipo de vehículo y podrá hacerlo caminando o bien por la carretera principal o por la costa a la vez que disfruta del hermoso paisaje que le rodea. Ahora bien, si dentro de sus planes está el de visitar lugares de interés históricos como el faro, el observatorio de Arecibo y otros, aunque se encuentran relativamente cerca necesitara usar algún medio de transportación para llegar a ellos.

Sports and recreational centers as the Yacht Club of Arecibo, historic sites such as the Arecibo Lighthouse, the Carso area, being this the principal geological formation located the biggest amount of caves and caverns of Puerto Rico, the famous Arecibo Observatory (NAIC) with the larger world and curved convergent antenna used for various purposes as part of the military intelligence, to observe any region of the universe, send messages to others in the world (it has been used in movies like James Bond Golden Eye , others as Contact and Species and in “X-Files: Little Green Men") . All these sights surrounding the area offer visitors to enjoy varied environments in one place.
A pasos encontrará restaurantes de comida típica-tradicional e internacional, tiendas, centros educativos y universidades como la Universidad Interamericana, la Universidad Católica y la Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana. Arecibo is well known for being true to our festive culture with various carnivals and activities that are held throughout the year. You will be sure to enjoy the Cycling Competition in January, the Arecibo Carnival in February, The Parachute Festival also in February, parties for Patron Saint St. Phillip the Apostle in May, the Beach Festival in July, the Folk Festival in July, the Craft Fair in September, the Whale Festival in November, the Centennial Flag of Puerto Rico in December and the Horse Festival “Yesenia Montero” in December with others.
Así mismo en Arecibo se realizan durante el año diferentes Festivales y Eventos que le pueden interesar al visitante, algunos de ellos son la Competencia de Ciclismo en Enero, El Carnaval de Arecibo en febrero, El Festival de Paracaidismo de Puerto Rico en febrero, las fiestas del Santo Patrón San Felipe Apóstol en Mayo, el Festival Playero en julio, el Festival Folklórico en julio, la Feria Artesanal en septiembre, el Festival de la Ballena en noviembre, el Centenario de la Bandera de Puerto Rico en diciembre y el Festival del Caballo “Yesenia Montero” en diciembre, entre otros.
