This neat, compact, pad, newly available, and known as 'The Orange Blossom House' is set in a quiet walled garden just 100m from the centre of Taxco.

With perfect views of the cathedral, and a couple of minutes from all the museums, the bustling market, the best restaurants, the town square (aka Zocalo) and, very importantly, all the main silver shops, it is extremely convenient for visitors.

The accommodation comprises a simple room with double bed, en-suite bathroom and. of course, high-speed WiFi. The place is plainly decorated, immaculately clean, with stunning vistas of the cathedral from its own little terrace.

The en-suite bathroom features a hot shower that really works and is supplied by its own boiler. The towels are fluffy and white, the bed linen crisp white 100% cotton, the pillows are plump and regularly laundered.

The floors are terracotta tiles, the wall recently whitewashed, and the interior is completely insect-proofed with mosquito screens on all opening windows and a rubber flap guarding the door.

There's mini kitchen facility, with a fridge, and a cooking ring - a welcome-pack and fresh flowers await your arrival. There's a daily maid service is available and laundry can be done if required.

This 'Casita' (little house) has direct street access through the garden and to the street via a substantial steel door, set in a massive stone wall, to the cobbled alley outside that's so picturesque other tourists come to photograph it!

The delightful lawned garden (at the full disposal of guests, of course) features cascading bougainvillea, fragrant jasmine and the eponymous orange tree, and makes a welcome refuge from the Taxco bustle.
