Novelist's Hideaway

You can hear your heart beat in the sitting area... Yes, it's that quiet...ride or feed my horses, pet, the doggies, play with the kitties...and swing on the hammock...or do nothing. Great kitchen, close to Missoula, yet extraordinary privacy...

The Space

The room is a 400 sq ft corner room in a large private Western style ranch home on a horse ranch. You must like horses, dogs, and cats. You have a "professional" quality kitchen at your disposal, a wonderfully sunny room with skylight, living room with great enclosed fireplace, and the run of the ranch. You are the only guest(s). Very private, very cozy...private bath.

There is a barn conversation area with sofas and chairs and hammock.

Close to all that Missoula has to offer, yet, once you go through that gate, you leave the world behind.

We can accommodate pets including horses but there is an extra charge for horses. One dog is OK but must fit in with ours...

Lots to do nearby. Greatest fly fishing in the world...and that's not hyperbole! People come from all over the world to fly fish here. We'll set you up. Huntin', too. One of my friends is a great guide but make sure you comply with all FWP laws, regulations, and statutes.

Owner is a well-published novelist and professional trumpeter. Good eatin' around here, too. If you want an intimate western setting, this is it. No guns; no smoking.
