Rental Details

Built to resemble Ernest Hemingway's Key West house, this three bedroom home overlooking Playa Coco is just a 25 minute drive from the Liberia (LIR) airport. With amazing canopy, mountain and ocean views the house is located in the gated Altos Del Cacique development and has no adjacent neighbors.

The house has two floors with wrap around decks and a roof top deck. The first floor has three bedrooms (each with its own private bathroom and shower) and one extra bed in an open area (faux bedroom). The second floor is a single, great room with living, dining, kitchen, bar and bathroom with shower.

Bedrooms have air conditioning units but, with fans and breeze, they are seldom needed.


The house is in Los Altos del Cacique which is a neighborhood on the hill overlooking Coco Bay. Both Playa Coco and Playa Hermosa are a 5 minute drive. The house is a 25 minute drive from the Liberia (LIR) airport.

While there are many beautiful homes in the neighborhood, most owned by non-Costa Rican nationals, our home has no direct neighbors so is very private and serene.


Visitors should rent a car. Taxi is a possibility but less convenient.
