Quiet and Comfortable Room for 2

Room for 2 adults with large balcony available in a new apartment complex. Safe, clean and very very comfortable. Only 10 min walk from Zhuwei MRT station which is very close to historic, tourist friendly Danshui (Tamsui).


The apartment is on the first floor (ground floor) with secure but easy access from the street. Wheelchair access is not a problem.

The apartment is just over 2 years old. The design is contemporary and functional. The lines are clean and uncluttered. While the bedroom is not huge, there a large amount of private outdoor space.

It is well-appointed through-out. The kitchen if fully equipped with a full range of appliances. Lamps and various ceiling lights offer a range of lighting options. The bathroom has a bath tub and rain shower. The toilet is equipped with a Japanese-style bidet (washlet). Both the bathroom and toilet are shared with he hosts.

Sadly, no pets or smoking inside please (smoking on the balcony is fine).Additionally, please don't wear street shoes inside the house.

Breakfast is provided and consists of tea/coffee/juice, toast with spread/honey, breakfast cereal or muesli and fresh local fruit and is served self-help.

We are available to welcome you just about any time during weekends. However, week days are slightly more difficult. Check in must be before 12:30pm or after 7:45pm Mon, Wed, Thu and Fri. On Tuesday before 3:30pm and after 9:45pn. I wish we could be more flexible, but sadly work gets in the way.

Guests are welcome to use the many resident spaces that are available throughout the complex. The swimming pool is open during the summer. In addition, there is a well-equipped gym - pool tables - table tennis and play room for children. Guests are welcome to use one of facilities once a day. Extra visits will incur an extra cost.

Also there are very well appointed KTV rooms, a games room, and even a private 30 seat movie theater (you supply the DVD/Blu-ray Disk). All of the these facilitates carry an additional, but reasonable, cost.

There are saunas (onsen)- segregated by gender during the winter months (again an additional cost - sorry.)

We are really happy to provide support/information/advice if and when its needed and asked for. We both work in the afternoon to later in the evening. Normally arriving between 8pm and 10pm.
