The villa is 30 minutes from the cosmopolitan city of Valencia (45 km), the birthplace of paella. You can take beautiful walks in the wooded green countryside, and then a day later discover Valencia itself. Although this city is known as a city break destination, it also offers a vast and beautiful sandy beach. Also the beautiful Albufera (36 km) area is definitely worth a visit, with native trees, a variety of birds, traditional fishermen's cottages and the largest lake in Spain. Closer to home you'll find the picturesque villages of Turis (6 km), Moserrat (12 km) and Buñol (17 km). Buñol owes its reputation to the annual Tomatina festival.
