La Petite Menguy is a quaint country house nestled in Pordic, in the stunning Cotes d'Armor department of Brittany, known for its “pink granite” coastline. The charming exterior exudes traditional countryside chic, with white-washed walls, a blue-grey slanted roof and wooden shutters, giving it an authentic French feel. Just 1.5km from the house you’ll find Plage de la Banche beach, and 50km away is the walled city of Saint-Malo. Stepping inside the house, you’ll be greeted with an open plan living-dining room, featuring a comfortable leather sofa and a dining table which seats six. Four additional seats are provided in the modern kitchen, featuring everything you’ll need to whip up your own creations, including an oven, fridge, freezer, stove and even a dishwasher. The ground floor hosts the master bedroom, with a double bed and a contemporary ensuite shower room. Walk up the curved wooden staircase to find two more bright and airy bedrooms – one with a double bed and a single (in option), and one with a double bed. This floor also features a second modern bathroom with a bathtub and two sinks, and there’s a separate WC. The mature gardens can be seen from most windows of the house and are peppered with gorgeous bushes, plants and trees which go through a spectrum of colours throughout the year. Deckchairs are provided in the garden, and the terrace has a barbecue and furniture for al fresco dining. The house is equipped with air conditioning and a cosy indoor fireplace for year-round comfort. You’ll also have cleaning supplies and a washing machine, dryer and ironing equipment. Internet access and a baby cot (if requested in advance) are included in the rental price. Please bring your own linen and towels. There is free parking for 2 cars in front of the house, with ample room for more cars to park in the street nearby. Pets are not welcome and smoking is only permitted outside the house.
