This nice old Eifel cottage has been converted into a wonderfully modern and stylish holiday home. It is situated on the main road in Wallenborn but is set off in a sort of little lane, so the location is central yet quiet and secluded. You will have the house entirely to yourself and you have a living room, a spacious open-plan kitchen and a nice bathroom.

There is a spacious terrace in front of the house and there is a storage area where you can park your bicycles or possibly a motorcycle. Wallenborn is located in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel region and is known for its natural cold-water geyser that presents a unique spectacle here every 35 minutes.

The surrounding area, consisting of hilly countryside and forests, offers many options. There are 5 lovely and well-marked hiking trails around Wallenborn. If you stay here you definitely have to visit "de Maare" as well these are crater lakes where you can swim when the weather is nice.

Mountain bikers can make use of the 500km "Vulkan Bike Trailpark". Prefer a flatter bike ride? You will find beautiful cycling paths along the Kyll and Mosel rivers. With its cross-country skiing, the Eifel is also a great destination in winter, and you can even go downhill skiing from the Mäusenberg.

Trier (75 km), the oldest city in Germany, is a very nice destination. Cologne (110 km) and Bitburg (35 km) are also well worth a visit.
