With amazing sunrises, free WI-FI and a location close to Auckland city & transport, this room in Mt Albert is a traveler's haven. As a room in a shared house, the room has been recently renovated, painted and decorated to a high standard.
The room has a new QUEEN bed, mattress and linens and features an ensuite toilet and sink. The ensuite is beautifully appointed with quality fittings and natural light.
The house itself is a traditional bungalow located within walking distance to major train and bus routes. It is 20 minutes to Auckland International airport.
The shared main bathroom features Grohe fixtures and fittings with a mains pressure shower.
The house interior has recently been painted and the shared spaces are beautifully decorated. The open plan lounge reflects my love of travel and features three unique living areas: a lounge with a SMART TV, a dining area and a wine/relaxation area.
The kitchen is nothing short of designer, with granite benchtops and premium fittings. Guests have access to unlimited tea and coffee during their stay.
From the kitchen, you have a stunning view of both Mt Eden and One Tree Hill as the house sits at the base of Mt Albert. The house also sits up against a 5ha farm in the city, providing an endless visita of green. The back garden neighbours include numerous cows, lambs in spring and the occasional run of piglets!
Outside areas include outdoor dining on the front porch to capture Auckland's beautiful late afternoon sun. There are also chairs on the back deck - perfect for a morning coffee. Downstairs there is a large table and BBQ area. And, the bottom garden features a large grass area with a hammock for relaxing and reading a book.
This a a beautiful, peaceful oasis in the city...with stunning views and plenty of open space. Mt Albert is a beautiful neighbourhood, with several local cafes (Italian, French, Vietnamese). Mt Albert itself offers beautiful walking, with the summit offering a 360 degree panarama view of the city, the oceans and the surrounding mountain ranges.
