I rent this fabulous flat at the famous quarter of barri vell in Gerona.

this mansion was built by the famous Arquitect Rafael Maso ( the equivalent to Gaudi in Barcelona ) and its located next to the cathedral of Gerona, museums, university and beautiful downtown, where you will enjoy the most famous places to visit and plenty of cozy different restaurants . You can also visit the famous Dali museum (located in Figueras) which is 30 minutes driving and the famous Costa Brava beaches ( 20 minutes by car / bus ) and the wonderful little cute towns in the famous empurda region, and taste their so well known traditional cuisine. you can also visit the south of France. French border is just 30 minutes driving from Gerona and you can get to Barcelona city in 30 minutes by train or 45 minutes by car. i am sure you will enjoy this beautiful place where you can walk everywhere and discover beautiful places around the area. Gerona airport is just 13 kilometers from the Gerona city with many destinations mostly handled by ryanair .

From May 30th onwards you have the option to have a parking lot for €25/ day just round the corner of the apartment 5 minutes walking distance!

By car

The old town here in Gerona is very difficult to navigate by car, so we always recommend that you leave the car in my parking lot and walk into the apartment which is very close .

. Leave the motorway ap-7 at junction 7 (Gerona south) and follow signs for the city centre (centre ciutat). when you reach the plaza de Cataluña drive to plaza del vi where you will find the Gerona’s city council building and once you passed it you will find the Ciutadans street , where my parking lot is located

By train

Exit the train at Gerona train station. leave the station and in front of the bus station you turn left and follow the raised railway line (for about 5 minutes) until you reach the street Santa Eugenia, here you turn right and continue straight on. Cross over the street Jaume 1 then take the street carrer nou straight on to plaza Cataluña.

Follow the rambla away from plaça Cataluña and you will find at he end of la rambla c/ força

By plane

From Gerona airport:

you can fly to Gerona Airport with Ryanair from a variety of locations across Europe. From the airport you can take a taxi (it is also possible to take a bus from Girona airport to the Girona Bus/Train station to the famous square 'Placa Catalunya' take the street 'La Rambla' away from 'Placa Catalunya' and at the end you wil find C/ força after crossing C/ Ballesterias.
Another option is to rent a car if you want to visit the beautiful Gerona region

From Barcelona Airport

It is possible to take the Metro line into Barcelona city from Barcelona Airport.
This service departs every hourly and takes 19 minutes to get to Barcelona Sants train station, where you can change to the next platform for the high speed train to Girona ( AVE), which takes 30 minutes. Another option is to rent a car if you want to visit the so beautiful Girona region
