The House originates from around 1885 and was originally the elegant home of Sir Tharia Topan, a Minister to Sultan Said Bargash. Within its old and unique architecture the hotel has eight individually designed rooms. Each and everyone of them furnished with traditional Zanzibar four-poster beds with lavish mosquito nets, rare lamps, antique furniture and unusual details. All rooms are fitted with air-condition.

Cappuccino (Suite) is a spectacular room furnished with among other things a big beuatiful closet. The suite features a big double bed. The en suite bathroom is really something else, with minute attention devoted to every detail.
