Three exclusive rooms based on different color themes, Red, green and turquoise a nice lounge and dining space, gives you a feeling of a home away from home. The food at our place is what one looks forward for as we serve traditional rajasthani cuisines! as well as north indian, continental and chinese food.
Built in 1980 by Late Brig. Pratap Singh Rathore as his residance, Pratap Bhawan invariably had guests, as the family always loved playing host. Owner, Himanshu Rathore inculcated a strong sense of hospitality by his father ever since.
He grew up in an environment teeming with passion for wildlife and exploring it. To supplement his passion for wildlife he trained as a naturalist with Taj Safaris at Bandhavgarh National Park and not only carries experience of jungles across India but also South Africa.
Photography has always been an extension of his passion for wildlife. The camera only complements his drive for wildlife, which extends an array of experiences and encapsulates them as memories in form of pictures, glimpses of which can be seen all the way down on the walls of Pratap Bhawan.
Pratap Bhawan has a distinct style reflecting the owner’s taste and personality. Himanshu, a naturalist wildlife photographer and wife, Deepti, an avid interior designer, together have designed their home into a luxurious villa that offers three beautifully crafted rooms full of character, all decorated with a theme based on nature and wildlife. Steeped in history the villa is now adorned with contemporary furniture and objects d’art.
