Welcome to the Carpathian Cottage, in the heart of Transylvania. If you're looking for your next nature escape, a calm outdoor holiday or perhaps you simply want the perfect getaway from the stress of everyday life, you've come to the right place.

High up in the hills where oxen still work the ground, this cottage provides an untouched and unparalleled country experience.

The house itself is a traditional wooden home which has been modernized inside while still maintaining its classic look. There are four beds in the house: two king size beds in the open attic and two single beds in the living room which also act as sofas during the day.

There's also a dining room, a kitchen with dishwasher and refrigerator, a full bathroom with a washing machine and two wood-burning heaters.

When renting the Carpathian Cottage, you are renting the complete house and its property, which includes a large piece of land that has an area for making a campfire, a covered outdoor dining room and a wooden platform in the trees to be enjoyed by children and adults alike.

The cottage is located in a relatively remote area, 3km up the hill, along a dirt road, from the main village of Bulzestii de Sus (transportation up the hill is provided and included in the rental price). Guests of the Carpathian Cottage should understand that the unique experience this property offers also requires you to be more self-sufficient and autonomous than when staying at other types of accommodation. Rest assured though, during your stay I'll be nearby, in my own cottage, 5 min away, to assist and help you with any issue you might have.
