Around 2 centuries ago, our grandparents decided to build a castle for their winter stays and to protect themselves from enemies, from the war. On the ground floor you can find the olive press that the residents had in order to make their olive oil.

Now and years later the stone house is ready to invite you in and enjoy a great holiday. The renovation took into consideration the traditional character of the castle keeping it unspoiled, while adding some modern touches. The materials used are mainly the local stone and wood. The castle is fully equipped with electrical appliances.

In addition to 1 double and 4 single beds, 2 more sofa beds are provided in the living room for comfortable sleep.

It is a great place to start from in order to explore the unique beauties of authentic Greece all around the year Appropriate both in the cool and cosy greek winter till the hot summer.
There is not actually a better period to visit, since every session has something unique to provide.

Staying in a castle like this will definitely make you feel like living centuries ago. You are given the opportunity to spend time traveling around Peloponnese, from the famous Sparta, land of Leonidas and the brave 300, to cape Matapa, where the gates of Ades were supposed to be.

Also, you are able to travel around the coasts of Peloponnese and enjoy the famous Greek sun and sky on beaches like Gerolimenas. Gerolimenas is, also, a great place to taste traditional Greek food and maybe have a drink before you come back to the castle and relax with a glass of wine next to the fireplace.
