My flat is very spacious by normal Tokyo standards. There are two rooms in addition to a large kitchen and dining area. You'll easily be able to relax, cook and eat with friends and family. The apartment itself and the surrounding area are very quiet, but you are also a short walk from the Nakano Station area which is one of the most densely populated areas of Tokyo.

In just 4 or 5 minutes you can get to the station and all kinds of fantastic eating, shopping and drinking establishments. You can easily access Nakano Broadway and the Sun Plaza shopping arcade. By train you are within very close distance to Shinjuku (1 stop on the Chuo Line) and hidden gem neighborhoods like Koenji and Kichijoji. The JR Sobu line is also the latest running train in Tokyo, running as late as 1am.

You can take a bus directly to Nakano station if you're coming from Haneda AIrport.
Coming from Narita only requires 1 transfer, at either Tokyo or Shinjuku station. I send detailed information about this to all guests before their arrival.

Nakano was recently voted as the best place to live in Tokyo by a well-known magazine. While not many visitors have heard of it, it's easy to see why it's so popular amongst locals after spending just a little bit of time here. You will have easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, bars, department stores and a large park.

These days Nakano is perhaps best known for Nakano Broadway, a 4-story complex of specialty shops popular with fans of anime and manga culture. But the building now attracts all sorts of people. It's a great place for souvenir shopping and there are also some artsy coffee shops, a supermarket, fortune telling shops and video game arcades.
Aside from broadway, here are just a few of the stores you'll have easy access to – Uniqlo, Don Quijote, Marui Department Store, Fujiya Camera and Daiso. There are also a countless amount of restaurants in the neighborhood.

Nakano very much comes alive at night, and you will see college students, businessmen, artists and musicians all rubbing shoulders at one of Nakano's dozens of izakayas (combination bar/restaurant). Around Nakano Central Park, there are several newly built international restaurants and a British pub. Or if you prefer, take advantage of the nice weather and eat or drink outside with friends.

Staying near Nakano Station gives you access to the JR Chuo / Sobu lines as well as the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line. You can get to Shinjuku in 4 minutes via the Chuo Line.

If you take the Sobu line, getting to Shibuya, Harajuku and Ebisu are very easy because you only need to just walk across the same platform when changing trains. Harajuku can be reached in around 12 minutes and Shibuya in 14.

To the west you can easily access Koenji (just one stop) and Kichijoji (5 stops). Both neighborhoods have a wide variety of cafes, used clothing shops, and exciting nightlife.

The Chuo line also gives you access to Mt. Takao, the most popular mountain in the Tokyo area.
