You are staying on the estate of Petrognano in Tuscany. One wing of this 15th century villa has been completely restored; the owner has turned it into a splendid apartment. During the construction mostly only old Tuscan materials were used, guaranteeing the preservation of that typical atmosphere. It's a great house for people who like an authentic atmosphere. The home is large, tastefully decorated and well finished. The different rooms on the ground floor are separated by old arches in the ceiling; the floors are tiled terracotta. The wooden floors of the bedrooms are made of olive tree wood, chestnut and Elmwood, all from the estate. If you are with a larger group you can also rent an adjacent building, a connecting door is then opened up for you. The estate of Petrognano lies - even for Tuscany - in an exceptionally beautiful setting between the Apennines and the Tuscan hills. The estate features a swimming pool, fish pond and tennis court. Pomino is a small authentic village (2 kilometers away), while Rufina (7 kilometers away) has a place to go for your daily shopping.
