Sometimes a house is so peaceful and rustic, that you'd have no idea how close it is to the city. This house, just ten kilometers from Sarlat-le-Canéda, is a perfect example of that. You can spend your morning in the fields watching wild deer, rabbits, and foxes frolic about and, in the large garden, there are plenty of options for kids at play, like a swing set, foosball, tennis, and darts. At night, you can cozy up next to the patio heater or sit inside by the fireplace and watch television, including Dutch channels. The beautiful, medieval city of Sarlat is just a short drive away. This city developed around a large monastery. It is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in France. Tamniès (4 km) and Marquay (4 km) are also charming, old relics of bygone times. Both towns have old churches (from the 13th and 12th centuries, respectively) and Marquay has a splendid castle. Golf enthusiasts are really in their element here. There are superb golf courses in both Siorac (31 km) and Vitrac (23 km). Paying a visit to Gourdon is also more than worth it. A great day out is always at your fingertips.
