This comfortable holiday house is located on a working farm in the Frisian village of Boijl, with a lovely view of idyllic cow pastures. The covered terrace in front of the house is a great place to sit outside and enjoy some peace and quiet while watching the cows graze. Two bedrooms have large beds (180 x 210 cm) for extra comfort. You are more than welcome to take a peek behind the scenes at the farm. Boijl is situated on the edge of the Drents-Friese Wold National Park, a place of great natural beauty: forests, heaths, marshes, fens and sand barrens. You can spend hours here cycling, hiking or mountain biking one of the nicest routes around Appelscha and Havelte.

You can also bring your own horses along to the holiday house and go horseback riding on one of the area's many bridle paths. Your horses can rest and graze in the pasture for a fee. The area offers more than just the great outdoors of the Drents-Friese Wold. Other options include a day at the sauna in Boijl or a visit to Giethoorn, the Emmen Zoo or the ancient dolmens at Havelte.
