One of only three units, this studio features an ensuite, sink, microwave, fridge, and tea and toast facilities. Connected to a two bedroom unit it is private and has a wooden deck along with a lovely grassed area for that evening BBQ. Situated on a large section near the Riwaka Estuary, we are not only handy to Motueka but just 15 minutes drive from the beginning of the Abel Tasman Coastal Track.
The wooden deck looks out over a garden and large lawn, and is a pleasure to return to after a day exploring our beautiful Abel Tasman region. An ideal base to also explore our Kahurangi(1hr) and Nelson Lakes(11/2hrs) National Parks, along with lovely, alternative, Golden Bay(1hr).
Your hosts are long term locals with a historic property in the Abel Tasman National Park. They hold guided walk concessions with the NZ Department of Conservation and guided walks into the Abel Tasman National Park leave from the address.
In a rural horticultural area five minutes walk from the estuary and tidal flats our accommodation is enjoyed by guests who wish to stay out of town and experience the real New Zealand from a local perspective, yet be handy to all amenities. We are a peaceful, rural, alternative to a city motel.
