Experience real island living in Bathsheba. Simple,Rustic and peaceful with a beautiful view of the East coast. Surf at Soup Bowl or relax in the tide pools. Take a hike along the old railroad which is along the coast towards the South of Bathsheba. Bathsheba is a very rugged, beautiful and quiet area. True island life. The busier South and West coasts are about a 30 min drive. I do recommend a car rental, but there is also good bus service to this area.
Home to the world famous surf spot, Soup Bowl. Check the waves from the balcony.There are tide pools to enjoy and rock caves, walk along the old railroad track to the south of Bathsheba. There is no swimming in Bathsheba, only in the tide pools.
There are a few restaurants, the Roundhouse and Atlantis. and 3 local rum shops who also serve good Bajan food
