The neighborhood is super safe and rich in culture, shopping, bars, restaurants and it has the most amazing view in the world. Right across the water is NYC in all its glory. You can see the Empire State and Chrysler. It is a joy to behold. The buses are cheap and regular and run all night.

The ferry is cheap and you must take it at least once at night. There is no better feeling than crossing the water at night with a friend. You'll feel like you are in a movie.
